The idea came
from you. Our local mariners and visiting sailors often wanted a
simple AIDE-MEMOIRE to help them with local port details and quality
marine service information. These cards contain VHF channels, QHM
numbers, good food guide, coastguard and marina information as well
as fuel stations, sailing clubs, dentists, hospitals, bus, airport,
train/rail and car hire and tourist information numbers. Local information
is presented on a simple waterproof, robust, easy to use card.
The bottom of the card has a small space set aside for tidal information
or other important port notes you may wish to record with a waterproof
pen. It is ideal for use with your favoured almanac to record important
details and keep them handy.
The cards are
available as Passage Packs or as individual port cards. We can even
put your sailing club logo on the cards, if you want to offer them
as a gift or guide to club visitors.
The cards can also carry a draw number that allows the card holder
to claim prizes via the Anything Marine website or your sailing
club website.
If your yacht/sailing
club or charter company would like to know more, please click here
to e-mail us.
The waterproof
cards can be separated from the pack simply by unclipping the chain
link. This helps you make notes whilst studying the chart or almanac.
The cards were
originally designed for emergency use, but so many mariners find
the local information and service supplier details so helpful and
easy to use, that they now employ them as an almanac port bookmark
and easily amendable AIDE-MEMOIRE
